Senior Pharmacovigilance Specialist

For our headquarter in Prague, Czech Republic, we are looking for qualified and experienced colleague to join us in the role of Senior Pharmacovigilance Specialist.

We need somebody who has:

  • A minimum secondary or university education in medicine, pharmacology or healthcare
  • 3+ years of practical experience in pharmacovigilance from global or local level in any of the areas:
    • PV Systems (e.g., PSMF/SPS, SOP preparation, audits, SDEAs, compliance)
    • Case management (data entry, QC, submission to authorities, safety database exports, clinical trial protocol review, reconciliation, MedDRA, XEVMPD) in both pre- and post-marketing phase
    • Global literature monitoring
    • Benefit/risk management (signal detection and further evaluation, safety communication, RSI)
    • PSUR/DSUR and RMP planning and preparation
  • Advanced knowledge of English
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Word and Excel
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Independent problem solving and decision-making skills
  • Process oriented and critical thinking
  • Responsible approach to work duties
  • Team player

Your responsibilities:

  • Participate on projects for wide range of our clients (from mid-generic pharma to globally acting players with medicines for rare diseases)
  • Drafting of internal guidance documents related to the area of major involvement
  • Work independently on assigned tasks according to respective unit you will join (e.g., adverse drug reaction processing, including data entry into safety databases; drafting of pharmacovigilance reports – PSURs, RMPs; safety signal assessment; participation on safety in clinical trials etc.)
  • Talented colleagues may be nominated as project managers overseeing all pharmacovigilance activities provided to specific client
  • Leading and training of younger colleagues
  • Participation during audits
