The Institute of Pharmacovigilance is a non-profit organisation that provides training in the field of pharmacovigilance and public health and that focuses on research of the safety and efficacy of medicinal products, primarily but not only through the organization of expert conferences, seminars and publishing activities.
The Institute of Pharmacovigilance (IPV) was founded in 2015 by Dr. Jan Petracek, PharmInvent´s CEO and is led by Dr. Martin Votava, PharmInvent´s Managing Director. Our experienced lecturers have a wealth of expertise gained over many years in drug safety.
Activities of the Institute of Pharmacovigilance:
- Pharmacovigilance seminars are organized once a year in Prague. These full-day seminars bring the latest information from the world of pharmacovigilance and they are popular especially among Pharmacovigilance Managers, QPPVs, Drug Safety Specialists and Heads of Regulatory Affairs.
- Specialized workshops are designed for smaller teams with the emphasis on practical training in pharmacovigilance, audits and inspections.
- Tailor-made training sessions can be prepared on ad-hoc bases to fit your needs and requirements.
Each program of the IPV´s seminars and workshops are carefully developed by a team of pharmacovigilance professionals and its content is regularly revised to reflect the latest developments in drug safety and the valuable feedback from our participants.
